They draw their inspiration from the U.S. Fifties Rock'n'Roll and Rockabilly to create an explosive mixture of cover versions of the grand masters of the kind, and above all original songs. In their own way, and in the purest tradition, they perpetuate this style, not forgetting by the way a few nods to great names such as Eddie Cochran and Carl Perkins.

The Excellos (Uk) at 23H45 (Rock’n Vintage hall)

For the record, The Excellos get their name from the record label « Excello », which was the first Blues label created by Ernie Young in the 50's in the USA where recorded renowned artists such as Slim Harpo, Lazy Lester, Arthur Gunter or Lonnie Brooks... The style of the band is mainly influenced by Jump Blues and 50's Swing with, from time to time, a touch of Boogie and Rockabilly.
